I got the California burrito for lunch. I love that they use thick cuts of carne asada for their beef rather than the ground beef type. They also use thinner fries which keeps the crispy and crunch inside the burrito. My favorite part is that they give you bottles of red and green salsa for the table so you can use as much or little as you please!

Tried the viral Oaxacalifornia burrito and was pretty impressed. Quality ingredients, friendly service, and fast with preparation. I will definitely be returning. Typical taco shop vibe.

6 of us for lunch: Ordered carne asada burritos, poll asado burrito, rolled tacos, chips and guacamole. The burritos were great with 96% meat and cooked to perfection. Rolled tacos were tasty as were the chips and guacamole. Service was ordering at the counter and delivered to your table if dining in. Food was great, reasonability priced. No noticeable restrooms available and the parking was a little challenging.

I was in San Diego and was craving some quick Mexican food for lunch, so I stopped by here. I got the Carne Asada burrito, and it was amazing! It had fresh pico de gallo, creamy guacamole, and perfectly seasoned meat. It was a great low-carb option, with such a clean and flavorful taste. Normally, I don't finish an entire burrito, but I couldn't help myself--it was that good! Plus, the prices are super reasonable. If you're in the area and looking for tasty, no-fuss Mexican food, this place is a must-try!

Their California burrito is top notch here - expect to have crispy fries and very flavorful and juicy carne asada. It doesn't feel too greasy. They really nailed down the burrito. However, their hot sauces are unfortunately just okay - the green has a better kick than the red. They are tucked in the corner and it could be easy to miss!

I had the King Kong burrito, so bomb!! Meat is seasoned and cooked well. And great customer service

Heard about this place from Reddit about best California burritos. So glad they extended their hours so I can finally visit after 7pm! I called in to order and the lady was super nice. We changed our order to eat there instead of to go and she was super nice about it too. The Oaxacalifornia burrito is huge and the carne asada was very flavorful. I'm a big dude, but I'm glad I split this with my wife. Would I say it's the best California burrito? It's definitely up there, but it has a leg up because of the quesadilla it's wrapped in. There were a few groups of people eating inside so the ambience was pretty chill. Overall, I'd come back if I'm in the area and try out other items from their menu.

The place is tiny and tucked away in back, easy to miss but worth the loop if you drive past. The food was tasty and the service was very nice. Not much seating inside and limited parking but if you are in the area you should give them a try.
